MARK DUFFIN NAMED SERVICEPOWER TECHNOLOGIES

ANNAPOLIS, Maryland. November 7, 2007 –
ServicePower Technologies, Plc. (LSE:SVR), a global developer
and supplier of service chain optimization software, is pleased
to announce the appointment of Mark Duffin to its board as Chief
Executive Officer. Mr. Duffin replaces David Brisco, who will
remain with ServicePower as an executive director.
Mr. Duffin, 40, is a qualified engineer with an MBA and has
an excellent track record of growing businesses with a view
to maximizing shareholder value. He has extensive experience
in managing and working within public companies.

“Mark brings a wealth of commercial and financial experience
in developing businesses both in the U.K. and overseas and he

Until recently, Mr. Duffin served as a director with Rentokil
Initial, Plc., having grown a startup business which he sold
and integrated into the company with success. Prior to Rentokil,
he was a director with Appian Technology, Plc., from 2001 until
2004 and with United Technologies, Plc. between 1998 and 2001.
