ServicePower & Bosch Software Enter Strategic Agreement

ServicePower enters into strategic relationship with Bosch Software Innovations

ServicePower (AIM: SVR), a market leader in field management, has enhanced its M2M Connected Services through a new strategic relationship with Bosch Software Innovations.

The future of field technology is rapidly changing, as manufacturers, communication service providers and other service organizations increasingly rely on Machine to Machine (M2M) technology to trigger the scheduling of preventive maintenance to avoid the asset failure and subsequent increased costs and decreased customer satisfaction. Likewise, M2M technology can be used to improve responsiveness and triage when break fix is required.

The technology of Bosch Software Innovations extends our M2M capabilities to enable clients to proactively identify failure or ‘need’, triggering subsequent intelligent field service events, such as maintenance, repair, restocking, or inspections. M2M Connected Services enables field organizations to build partnerships with profitable customers, providing self-service information as well as timely and accurate billing as a result of real-time connected device data.

ServicePower’s patented technology drives productivity and efficiency in the scheduling of optimized appointment, SLA or complex jobs, while at the same time supporting the intelligent dispatching of any labor resource. Our end to end field management software has been utilized with M2M technology since first generation machine based diagnostic and auto dispatch tools emerged in the security, facilities management, and telemetry and GPS location sectors.

ServicePower’s M2M Connected Services enable field service organizations to identify new business opportunities, such as pay-per-use deployment models, enhanced SLA or revenue sharing contract models, smart energy management and increased accessory and product sales.

Matt Jennings, Managing Director Bosch Software Innovations for the Americas, “Bosch’s software platform for the Internet of Things combined with the industry leading field service optimization technology enables field service organizations to transform their business model. Our joint forces allow every aspect of mobile operations to be identified, measured, and analyzed, delivering greater intelligence to fleet managers – the key elements for long-term efficiency, profitability and customer retention.”

Marne Martin, CEO of ServicePower, commented "Our newest business relationship with Bosch Software Innovations demonstrates our commitment to continuously innovate the field service industry. With the Bosch Software Innovations Suite with its M2M capabilities, ServicePower can offer a single vendor solution to any organization, including manufacturers, facilitates management, utilities and CSPs that supports connected machine data, enabling them to transition their service model from reactive to proactive, combating increased competition, changing customer dynamics and reduced margins.

With new mobile enhancements like photo capture and schematic displays, Force.com integration, globalization, improved travel calculations in our patented optimization engine, and enhanced M2M Connected Services, ServicePower continues to position itself as a field service technology leader.”
