ServicePower Technologies Plc (AIM:SVR), a market leader in workforce management technology, announces that it has applied for a fourth patent related to Quantum Annealing Optimization for field service, vehicle scheduling and workforce management solutions.
This latest technology enables tuning of the Quantum Annealing algorithm, for both field service operatives, as well as for vehicles, providing field service organizations the ability to modify the parameters used in schedule optimization. Real time modification to the algorithm will enable ServicePower’s clients to more easily and more quickly modify the parameters used in schedule optimization to continuously deliver even greater productivity and route efficiencies.
The algorithm was developed as part of a KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnership) initiative with Dr. Alan Crispin and Alex Syrichas from the Manchester Metropolitan University.
Quantum Annealing Tuning will also be incorporated into ServicePower’s mobile workforce management software platform, including ServiceScheduling, NEXUS FSTM and Optimization on DemandTM, providing the field service industry with the first new optimization technology in decades.
