ServicePower Bolsters Executive Staff

McLean, VA- ServicePower, Inc., a leading provider of field service management solutions, announces the appointment of a Chief Marketing Officer and a Chief Financial Officer, accelerating the go to market capabilities related to customer experience and service enablement, and deepening Diversis’ investment in ServicePower.

Samir Gulati has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer.  A software marketing leader, Samir was most recently VP, Marketing at Appian, where he quickly drove growth and led the business to a successful IPO in 2017. Prior to Appian, Samir served at Apptix as VP, Marketing and Business Development, where he expanded the company’s product portfolio and grew the strategic reseller business. Samir also served as head of Marketing at Pegasystems and SAGA Software, where he successfully strengthened the company’s brand and drove top-line revenue growth. Samir began his career at GE, serving in various marketing leadership positions across GE businesses.  He holds an MS degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. At ServicePower, Samir will drive growth in the business through an integrated marketing effort that includes corporate, product and brand marketing. 

Matt Sysak has been appointed Chief Financial Officer.  A veteran financial leader, Matt’s experience includes venture capital financings, initial public offering, mergers and acquisitions, and successful exits to private equity.  Most recently Matt was Chief Financial Officer at EverFi, Inc., a cloud-based SaaS business, where he was responsible for overall financial management, including three successful funding rounds, multiple acquisitions, and a sale to private equity.  Prior to EverFi, Matt served as VP and Controller for Rosetta Stone Inc., where he directed all accounting, tax and internal audit functions, as well as the completion of the Company’s Initial Public Offering. Prior to Rosetta Stone, Matt was Vice President and Controller for Quadramed, Inc., a publicly-traded enterprise software company. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and is a Certified Public Accountant.  At ServicePower, Matt will support accelerated growth and financial performance as a SaaS, cloud based company.
