Contract with Global Consumer Products Manufacturer

 Contract renewed and extended across breadth of product offering

 ServicePower Technologies Plc (AIM: SVR), a market leader in field management software, is pleased to announce that a major American appliance manufacturer has renewed and extended its contract with ServicePower. service-power-logo

The client, which is acknowledged as one of the best run field service organisations in North America, has used ServiceScheduling and ServiceOperations for many years to manage its factory service and third party contractor network. ServiceGPS has also been used over several years to track and manage service vehicles. The renewed contract extends the life of ServicePower’s products in support of changes to the client’s organisation to improve margin and the customer experience. Since 2001, ServicePower’s software has provided optimised routing, asset tracking, third party dispatch and claims processing to support the client’s appliance service business. 

Under the terms of the renewed contract, the client has extended its relationship with ServicePower to also license ServicePower’s ServiceStats business intelligence software. ServiceStats is an in-memory business intelligence platform that provides the business intelligence data necessary to monitor capacity and forecast parts utilisation. ServicePower will host the implementation of ServiceStats, eliminating the client’s burden of managing infrastructure and planning for disaster recovery. 

Furthermore, the client has also extended its contract to add the latest travel logic enhancement to ServicePower’s ServiceScheduling software. The client piloted the new travel enhancements prior to entering into the new contract with ServicePower and was able to demonstrate a 10% drive-time reduction, a reduced schedule cost, improved margin and increased overall customer satisfactionthrough its use of the technology.
