Client and Implementation Services

The process consists of four phases: initial workshops, configuration, integration, and training/pilot.
Initial workshops are designed to achieve the following:

  • Provide an initial understanding of the product and the project structure
  • Agree new processes in detail for both automated job allocations and exception handling
  • Explain the SERVICEPower APIs, which will be used to integrate SERVICEPower to the customer's service management system
  • Specify and agree the customer's technical infrastructure in which SERVICEPower will reside
  • Explain the data required to drive SERVICEPower

The key activity within the configuration phase is "business mapping", which simulates the customer's business processes within SERVICEPower, using the customer's own data. The team will model various settings of the scheduling parameters within SERVICEPower to identify those combinations, which maximize the benefits in the customer's unique business environment. The schedules output from this activity demonstrate the scale of benefit achievable, and customer staffs that participate gain a thorough understanding of how to use SERVICEPower within their own organization.

During integration ServicePower provides installation, technical, and product training, plus on-site consultancy support during integration testing. In the training/pilot phase, the customer team is prepared for go live and full implementation. A full description of ServicePower implementation services is set out in the "Standard Implementation Approach" document available from ServicePower.
