Technical Consultant
Job Description
Technical consultant required to perform presale and implementation
activities related to ServicePower’s sophisticated
enterprise software. This role will combine office-based
activity with those on customer sites in North America. The
ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate both technical
excellence and customer facing skills, and complete detailed
tasks related to all technical elements of a SERVICEPower
implementation.
Responsibilities
- Support sales and business consultants in creating
demonstration systems.
- Act as lead consultant in defining integration of the
product with clients IT departments
- Install and configure product
- Perform technical training tasks
- Provide troubleshooting support to existing customers
Skills required
- Sound technical knowledge of Windows2000 and SQL Server;
exposure to Oracle, C, C++ and Java.
- Experience with application systems and ability to rapidly
assimilate new product information
- Good analysis skills with ability to grasp customer requirements
quickly
- Good communications skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to travel

Senior Technical Consultant II
Senior technical consultant II required to perform presale
and implementation activities related to ServicePower’s
sophisticated enterprise software. This role will combine office-based
activity with those on customer sites in North America. The
ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate both technical
excellence and customer facing skills, and complete detailed
tasks related to all technical elements of a SERVICEPower implementation
- Assist Account Managers by demonstrating software
product to new prospects, and partners.
- Present industry best of breed business process and
change management strategies.
- Present all technical aspects of the software product,
its architecture, implementation, interfaces, and configuration
with both technical and non technical users.
- Document design options for customer infrastructure
and interface options.
- Install and support customers through interface development,
product pilot and full deployment of the software solution.
- Provide diagnostic and operational support to customers
and partners on site and remotely.
- Work with product management group to validate new
functional designs, and suggest product enhancements.
- Present product and solutions at industry trade shows
and seminars.
- Team lead for other consultants, which includes helping
them prioritize work, aid in technical decisions and
designs, and provide general advice guidance and support.
Minimum 4 years experience and bachelors degree in related
